Individual therapy can take many forms. I tend to start by focusing on what is causing you to reach out, and what a helpful experience of therapy might look and feel like for you when it’s over. In other words, in the future, what would be happening in your life that would demonstrate the value of therapy? Issues I have encountered together with clients include symptoms of anxiety, panic, relationship distress, depression, loneliness, anger, and grieving, to name a few.
